Targets for Action is a short animated film explaining the importance of the 169 targets. The initiative, called Targets4Action, is financed by the Swedish Government and produced by The New Division. It will be launched during UNGA in New York, September 18th.

BEST OF TIMES, WORST OF TIMES
VICE Impact are creating a short film as a hero piece of content that will be shown at The Goalkeepers event taking place on Wednesday 20th September during Global Goals Week and will be showcased across the VICE network. The theme of the film is ‘Best of Times, Worst of Times’ related to the theme of ‘progress is possible not inevitable’ and the need for ongoing commitment, collaboration and leadership across sectors to deliver on the promise of the Global Goals by 2030.
VICE Impact will also produce short pieces of content based on interviews with participants on the day of Goalkeepers that will be shown across the VICE network after the event.
A film that celebrates people from around the world who are doing extraordinary things to help us achieve the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. We call them ‘Goalkeepers’. These incredible people are proof that we are making progress on the SDGs and will inspire others to drive action towards achieving the SDGs.

Despite progress, too many women and girls have been left behind. These short films from the Leave No One Behind partnership and made by AfricaCreates.org highlight some of the challenges facing women and girls around the world. And how they are fighting for their rights.
SAUTI SOL ADVOCATES FOR THE SDGS
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and one of Africa’s most popular music bands Sauti Sol (BienAimé Baraza, Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi and Polycarp Otieno) have joined forces on a video spot to advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a global plan to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure inclusive development by 2030. The films explain that African governments signed up to achieve the 17 Goals by 2030, and what the band members themselves would like to see happen by 2030.
